So the ex-speaker Michael Martin has stated in the Scottish Sunday Times that he now plans to spend his time with his new found hobby of carpentry.
Michael Martin, former speaker of the House of Commons, has revealed that he plans to take up carpentry. How fortunate, because a Mr G Brown of Downing Street, London - an old friend, I believe - has a very wobbly cabinet that needs attention.
